Oaks Day
Today we had an event based around Oaks Day. We had to dress up in our finest clothes. We partnered up and had to write about what they were wearing here is my description of my partner Luka.
As Luka swiftly floats down the long catwalk your eyes are immediately drawn to his nike roshes. The cotton mix worn so well especially the colors milk chocolate jeans with a blue shirt with white details. Made by the finest man and woman from… target and fine pants Knitted from David jones. Hair styled to perfect with a mix of a light shade of brown with streaks of blond brighter than the sun.
Neither of us got into the finals but our other partner Hunter got to the finals and got best style

Me In A Minute
On the 7th of October we did this activities where we had to record information about all these exercises that we had to do in a minute. In the end we had to write 3 goals that we had to practice at home but it was only allowed to be thing that we where below class average my goals were to do train track jumps for a minute every night, practice my basketball shot for 30 minutes most nights and bounce the ball on a racket for a minute every night. My favorite activitie was sit ups because that’s what’s think I did best at. BUT that was only the beginning in the next few weeks we have to do this task AGAIN. Here’s a picture of my results

Immigration
In the last few weeks Connor and I have been working on a inquiry project about immigration. We learnt a lot of new things like 35 towns have Dutch names in Australia. Connor and I worked very well together even though I got a bit distracted from time to time. I believe I achieved my goal but next time I should speak a bit louder and keep eye contact. I think I can achieve this by practicing a bit more and make cue cards. Our model was of a windmill and a little house on a farm here is a picture.

Italian teacher!!
Today Ms Morris taught us a lesson in Italian it was a prep lesson! All of a sudden she started speaking in Italian, I looked around the class and saw everyone in shock, at the same time it was cool to have a teacher that could speak Italian but I don’t think I could have a teacher speaking a different language for a whole day. The lesson was about translating colour names in Italian to English. The purpose of this was to see how we would feel if we couldn’t understand anyone how you would feel. I felt confused when she put the sheet down In front of me and it was all written in Italian.
Teaching 6B
Since our political party won the party’s we were able to teach year six. This was very hard because it was hard to get everyone to listen and sit down at the same time. It was a very good experience.
